Reservist next year

Hi guys. Just received my reservist next year. My previous unit armour battalion had already MR few years back.

My reservist noticed to report at Sungei Gedong camp under HQ ****

*omitted if there is any sensitivity involved

I am excused firearms permanently by SAF medical board with PES B status. Any idea what will be my posting? I am previously an armour infantry trooper during my past reservist days but I no longer went to outfield or did any firearms revision or training previously.

Many possibilities. You can be sent there as a clerk, storeman or any roles that do not need to bear firearms.

While you are excused firearms, you are not excused outfield. You still can be sent outfield together with the HQ in the command tentage or vehicles.

I'm in the same position as you. Last time in SAR battalion reservist unit, now in the same unit next year as you. Didn't get called up for 8 years.

I emailed ns contact asking about which unit I'm attached to and my vocation, and the s8 replied within 3 days with the info.

Thought they forgotten about me...

Your previous reservist unit is it same as unit as Dee kosh?

I don’t think so if he is in the same reservist unit.
How many cycles are you in HK/LK? Yours is S8 or DYS8 replied to you? did they inform you about your vocation or just the unit itself?

I only clocked 3 HK, the rest are mob briefing and 1 mob.

S8 replied. I had no info on the unit so I emailed asking which unit and vocation.

Suggest that TS omit the full abbreviations of the unit as this unit is quite sensitive.

I was in this unit doing full time NS many years back and was told by the ops specs not to put any indications of this unit in the social media.

All along stay in, maybe I'll request for stay out, see what they say.

Did nothing for my all my ICTs, except went for house visits. Hope this coming one is just as relaxed
