reservist no chiong sua?

Recently had some sort of ORD talk, they say likely will not have chiong sua for reservist. I thought reservist 1st few cycles is chiong sua?

for infrantry,

usually first few ICT go the BTC(can't remember??) thingy at pasir lebar camp for refresher. like go through bmt + weapons training again.

I guess thats what they meant by no chiong sua.

my info not very up to date, maybe anyone from your senior batches can throw some light here.

for my side
1st 3 Low key ICT got chiong sua, ie 2days 1 night..

4th - 6th HK ICT, each got 2d1n + 3d2n chiong sua.

7th HK ICT, go overseas chiong straight 9days8night outfield, walan knn..ATEC

8th HK = go range nia
9th HK = 2day1night chiong sua
10th HK = range again.............then MR...

Depends on your PES status, vocation, unit.

my unit very simple...

manage to indent low loader and traffic escort = got chiong sua

If you are from a combat vocation during your active days then most probably during your ICT will have outfield exercise. But usually is short duration outfield compare to last time.

The 1-6 SIR are regular infantry bns, so they will do infantry stuff according to their unit's role during the active days (eg. counter attack).

9 SIR does POI? If your unit is assigned to POI duties as a NS unit, then you will do POI for your reservist training cycles.

Mine was SIR.
All chiong sua except the last 3 icts. Its worse than my ATEC NSF days. posted to SIR reservist unit after ORD.
No chiong sua only last 3 icts. third last prepare for ops duty(POI). second last do ops duty and last one i'm not sure yet.

depends on unit...

relative in guards still gotta go Lim Chu Kang chiong sua + dig shell scrape..
