Resident Evil (2026)

Watched last week, it sucks, kena hammered by wife.

Same, kena kp. Was an average movie at best and definitely not a good one especially since you need to play the og RE titles to get a few of the jokes and that cameo save room appearance.

Also, main character got really annoying and jarring to watch after a while. Disappointed in the movie because of the forced comedy scenes and stark contrast from what the trailer originally showed really.

A bit short but probably saving the rest for a sequel to milk.

The zombie dog's head bashing through the barnhouse really got me! I feel that scene alone is already worth the money.

Watched in IMAX. Love it. Entertaining sia.
But the ending… aiya.

I watched the trailer like very boring

I think the old movies were more narrative driven compared to this; this in essence is just a random delivery guy in survivor mode with half parts horror and comedy but doesn't excel in either. I played the intial games so I could understand some of the jokes compared to my wife for example but I was hoping for a more serious tone compared to the original movies and following more inline with the first few games but eh it falls short by a lot.

Lucky i caught it on cinema, movie theatres still out win home tv really, better sound quality with wider screen.
