that's the thing. i'm the kind who can only accept a bit of horror. hence RE.

silent hill that kind is a guarantee I'll wet my diaper.

RE 1: classic horror survival, not too scary
Re 2-6 : a little bit creepy but mainly just pew pew pew
RE7: too scary, cannot play
RE Village: only got balls to play when 3rd person + unlimited ammo came out

mybfd. nowadays good games all ex. at least they don't split into 3 sequals like ff7 remake. Speaking of which, the first 2 were rubbish. i don't have any expectation for the 3rd one

i think Silent hill F is more creepy.

Silent hill is more of creepiness, RE has transited to action game more then survival horror. I think post RE 2 or 3, the creepiness no longer there and you are just fighting monsters.

Silent hill have things like kids giggles in a abandoned school libraries and shadows in dark places that run past you just enough to wet your panties.

This silent hill scare factor pales in comparison to fatal frame series. And they also remaking the fatal frame series!

I think both have it's unique point, where silent hill is the westernized horror while fatal frames kept to it's Japanese roots. But the crux of both series is that for most part, there's alot of unseen and unknown ''stuffs'' that's actually the one making you imagine and scare.

Towards the back when the big bad came out it's not so scary liao.

Any RE fans here?

The latest RE Requiem is dropping on the 27th this month. Priced at $85.90 and $98.90, depending on the edition. Gameplay-wise, it doesn’t look that different from the RE4 Remake, which I’m totally fine with,I much prefer this style over RE Village or RE7.

I just cannot play first person games. Makes me dizzy and nauseous. I only touched RE Village after the third-person addon came out. Before that? Instant headache as soon as Ethan crawled out from the vehicle.

Requiem feels like it’s gonna be another 又要怕又要玩 kind of game for me, just like RE4. Scared, stressed, but still can’t stop playing.

I’ve been playing RE since I was a kid, platinumed most of them. The only one I never played was RE7. Too scary, too dizzy... survival horror is fine, motion sickness horror is not .. I watched nearly the full game on youtube thou. I don't think I can play it on my own

Tempted to buy sia, last RE game i play was RE 2 Remake, nvr even finish halfway i quit playing liao, its a superb game but puzzle solving too complicating for me. But this time round this RE 09 got 1st person shooter, thats what interest me, i like 1st person shooter view. Have this game release befor cny, I sure buy it and play on CNY Eve and CNY 1 & 2, but instead release on 28th, i think i might still buy it. Really is young time no money buy to play, now old men liai grown up got work and money to buy but might not have the mood and time to play. Btw thanks for sharing bro, i am a big RE fan also.
