Resort Shirakami is a train that runs along the JR Gono line. there are also other trains that runs along that line.

hyperdia will indicate whether it is Resort Shirakami train. for example:
http://www.hyperdia.com/cgi/en/sear...h_target=route&facility=reserved&sum_target=7

thanks. i was thinking of tokyo> akira> ( via this Shirakami line)aomori > (around 5 to 7 days) than up to hokaido and 7 to 8 days in hokaido than fly back to Narita and back to singapore.

This is schedule for 9 to 22 dec 2016. i just starting to plan, so is this workable?
