Retained in JC1 and available path ways..

I am in a scenario where my kid may be retained in JC1 and exploring options like going for foundation course locally or in overseas. Are the foundation courses valuable Or go to poly and then uni or continuing JC1 for one more year got any impact on the uni admission later as JC studied for 3 years? Pls. share some light on this on the available pathways..Thanks..

foundation course will have a more limited number of universities to go to.

but if those universities are the one ur kid is ok to go to, then is actually a very simple path. just expensive...
