Retaining Washer for Case Fans

on certain Corsair fans, there is a rubber bung when you peel off the sticker at the back of the fan, and it exposes the image. (image used as reference to show the white retainer washer)

you have to remove the white washer that holds the fan shaft in place.

i removed mine to clean my fan and fan blades and broke the white piece, the fan still works, since it's a brushless and the magnet hold it in place, i would still like to have the washer hold the fan in place.

anyone knows where to buy the white nylon/plastic retainer ring in the image.

it has a few different names; retainer washer, self lock washer... I kind of can find it online at alibaba but it's 1000pcs order. i just need 4pcs for my 4 fans that i took apart for cleaning...

if you are looking for these, which are plastic. you can get it here. (the screw shown is for standard fan holes)
but it comes with 100 pieces for 2 bucks and you should be looking for M4 x 9 x 1 (Black/white)

no, those are just regular washers.

the one in the case fan is a retaining washer, it works in the same manner as

or

it grips onto the fan shaft and prevents the fan from being pulled out.

I know what you are looking for. I broke a few as well, luckily I can cut replacement but now no stock left unless I cut another batch.

But, I have some custom cut PET washer OD7.8 x ID2.6 x 0.35mm thick for my own device that can be use for replacing this, you need to cut the slit for installing it into the 3mm fan's shaft.

The original ring is OD5.0 x ID2.6 x 0.25, I use my washer to replaced some units without any issue.

The bottom ring is the default ring, those in the top bag are the washer I mentioned. I little bigger on the OD but you can install it after you cut the slit and slide it down the 3mm fan's shaft using a hollow tube or pen body.
