RETAKING A LEVELS NEXT YEAR? NS... Help?

So theres only a week to the A levels and I know I will probably not make it. I got an L1R5 of 8points before deduction during O levels and my JC life isnt a smooth one, considering that I am suffering from depression and anxiety... I was so bad that teachers start questioning me and knew something was wrong. I have 3 options:

1) Repeat as a J2 and defer from Ns(if only I meet the retaking criteria)
2) Retaking A levels in a private institution while in NS (Im given a PES E so I should have free time to study and I can negoiate w the officers
3) Retaking A levels but not going to any institutions just by self studying and some tuitions while in NS (Is this possible??)

Pls advice... My future is at stake here.

1 or 3 would be best. Its honestly easy to retake A levels while in NS. I've had friends who brought their notes along into the jungles of brunei and made it into NUS. So yes. It is very much possible. Im against option 1, because sometimes, your failure to do well in the A levels might just be due to your own inherent faults. No matter how many times you retake, you might still not do well, so its better not to waste time. I know of a person who spent a total of 4 years in JC, instead of 2, and still did not make it through to local university.

Option 3 would be best. Studying while in NS is not impossible. Also, because you have 2 years, you can do it twice and not was any time at all. Private institutes are not much of a use IMO. I've been there, its not that good. Unless you really need to retake your science practicals. But if I'm not wrong, you can still reuse your SPA marks for 1 year. I've seen people go through option 3 and made it into NUS/NTU, so its not impossible.

I would suggest you settle your depression and anxiety with a professional first. You may also wish to find some light activities outside your school, it can be joining a volunteer org, or some recreational courses etc. It will give you some form of breather.

Then recollect yourself to make the right decision with help from your school counsellor. Please do not be afraid to seek advice from them.
