Retaking exams

Hi, I am planning to retake my A levels in NS.. Is it possible? If yes, can anyone advice me on how to go about doing it. Or share experience?

I think the 2nd thing is "easier" than the first.

Oh so yall mean if superior not supportive and is against it, then it'll b quite tough? But the taking of leave is generally easy to do then?

No, more like I see the latter, i.e. getting off to take exams etc, more like a formality.

Whereas the former, will to study, the difficult 1.

you might have to do it in your own time, as a private candidate of course. eg take annual leave for exam days

but dont expect special treatment or extra time to study. you need to serve just like everyone else.

but if you are in a stay-in vocation, then you might have to leave it til ORD. another way is to take a diploma either part time, or after ORD, full time, then upgrade to a degree in a private school. you have better chance at that rather than trying to catch up with the A level and local uni people. that train has passed because you were too lazy.

I have friends who studied at night. I think it is easier to do it if you are in an admin position compared to combat, but it still can be done if u r combat. Takes alot of willpower and determination to see yourself through.

Superiors are generally supportive, but you may have to save your off(s) or do more duties to earn these off(s) to be used whilst you go and take the exams. Do voice your concerns to your superiors and see what they say. All the best.
