I think I need to organise my insurance policies and stop unnecessary ones.

For middle age people, what r the necessary and unnecessary insurance. Any advice?

My hubby wants me to sell our house to invest in business. It is his dream to do business. I am so tired being a girl, father say be dr, I be dr, now after married, have to be good wife and support hubby...sigh, it's tiring really.

FIRE is the way to go.

im 42 this year. no debt.
i can FIRE in 8 years time when ive accumulated enough assets

I am hoping minimal of course. Depends on where we retire.

everybody wants minimal or at best zero.
the fact that many people havent come out with a number meant that they have not planned for retirement

I agree with FIRE. If you burn down your business, the insurance payment can set you up for life!

No need to wait 8 years. Just make sure you have your insurance set up and you can FIRE right away!!
