MOM guidelines on retrenchment is refer and reference to industrial relations act.
employment act go read up. there is nothing on retrenchment. MOM only enforces and acts on employment act.

under industrial relation act, it state a lot on retrenchment, but all is FYR only.
there is nothing that is to enforce.
so dunno dun act smart.

We have passed Q1 and hopefully the worst is over in terms of retrenchment. I would imagine most companies which plan for retrenchment would do it earlier in the year rather than middle of the year.

To all those who are affected, take some time off to recharge and hopefully you can find something when you are ready.

Seems like I was wrong about the job market getting better in 2h.

I started a job in April but going to change job again soon. Hopefully the next one will be something I can stay longer rather than the current one which I took because I was afraid I couldn't find anything else and so I jumped into it when it was offered
