Retro gaming & console Collecting thread

Hey all,

Not sure if anyone started any retro gaming collecting thread so i start a thread.

Just started collecting game titles and consoles across different systems especially sega mega drive and playstation 1 haha.

Also heard about this cool place at yio chu kang road opp serangoon stadium called ' versus city' which they held mini tournament of retro games to recent titles.

I have some super nintendo cartridges. Recently went to aikihabara and bought a few more. Those popular titles are really expensive

Yeah I heard abt it too. Which shop in akihabara u went to? I know super potato very expensive. Just dropby versuscity, awesome place but Too bad not much nes carts. The guy who assist me was kind enough to let me search ard his big boxes of sega mega drive and genesis games. I didnt go back empty handed. Haha.

I saw a lot of these retro games and cartridges at Nakano Broadway, Japan. I think its not cheap man even for those retro hand held games. I still have my working old sega mega drive 2 at home but lack of an adapter but still I doubt the current tv model in the market can support it anymore.

You can if u have the rf cable to yellow and white. Ebay and amazon got sell. Coz current model tv still have yellow white and red components slot

always wanted a dreamcast ever since my teens haha. tat time it was more expensive than playstation i think.

Versus city at yio chu kang is the closest i can think of to playing old school retro gaming. you might want to check that place out. Its pretty eye opener really love that place. Seems that in singapore retro gaming scene is quite low but they had almost everything you can find.

Asking $120, of cos working set, 5/10 cosmetic due to age. Howeva vintage value retains

If the flea market at sungei road hasn't been closed down, u guys will still be able to get those pop retro games... Saw those mega drive cartridges going like $2 per and nothing more than $5 previously... I even got my original resident evil disc at $1 over there... Haha... Not sure if anyone knows where have those uncles move to...

Haha actually those still can be found... But you have to travel to Hong Kong... Located at 鸭寮街... It's like sungei road but a major one... Many 2nd hand stuff can be found over there... I saw couple of ps 3 original titles going at 100hkd per... Even sega mega drive cartridges... Haha... U drop by there if u happen to go Hong Kong...
