Not for this review but for personal testing yes.
The power draw from board to board differs. But it aint much across different boards with the same components used. Especially if you put in just a single 8pin.
Using a 2nd 8pin if board allows, this gives a slight increase in power consumption when needed. Did saw a total of 20 watts average more.

Yeap, if you truly want a CPU with capabilities to do workload rendering by day and gaming by night, this would be a great choice for it.
