Please ensure that mods cannot make dumb decision to give points. so many cases of that.

suggest that
1. the mods that gave the points be identified. such a mechanism will deter meaningless decisions which has personal inclinations.
2. mods be subject to evaluation, so that jlb ones can be removed from power (if such power is impt to them here, it's another good deterence)

Thanks for your suggestions.

They are duly noted and will be discussed over internally.

It seems points are given out easily these days.

actually how you know their capability have not been reviewed? Maybe that's the standard expected of them?

Disagreeing with a decision does not necessary mean the decision is wrong.

Dangerous suggestions by TS.

1) Mods are just volunteers. Do they have anything to jiak? They have no monetary incentives to be held accountable of their actions.
2) Highlight the Mods then do what? To harass the Mod?

If you think you are unfairly infracted, just feedback in this section. Admin can exercise discretion whether to reverse or not. Don't need to wait for Mod to explain.

you are suggesting 0 accountability and transparency... this is verging on dictatorship regimes, nothing less expected from a mini mod

Volunteering is not a licence or a free pass to be crap at your job or to go on powertrip and abuse your position.

Why bother? He's apparently not old enough to understand and analyse stuff. You'd have to explain everything to him slowly, point by point, each and every time. And still there's no guarantee he'll actually be able to understand it.

the difference between what you call as "dictatorship" and actual dictatorship is, you can move "your business of helping them earn ad revenue" to somewhere else that is acceptable of your desired conduct. so I really don't get why is this even an issue?

It's like if you were to visit a religious forum and talk trash about religion, are you expecting not to be censured? Same principle applies here.

After spending 2 boring minutes trying to read and understand your post, I still no idea what In the blue hell you are rambling about.

People talking about moderation standards you talking about thrashing religion in a religion forum.

Mod also tell you to stop poking your nose in every thread. Did you yourself listen and stop and go elsewhere? No right? Then what gives you the right to tell people to leave this forum you hypocrite. 1 rule for you and another for others ah

Yes, everyone has an opinion how a forum shoud be run or how a discussion should take place.

Participation and having a vested interest is good.

But not knowing when to draw the line, or expecting everything to go your way is a bit unrealistic.

Anyway, this thread has been answered and is yet another thread going off-topic with mini modders, so let's just cap it here.
