It looks like Revolut has started a (limited?) launch in Singapore - if you have the app installed and were on the list, you may have received an e-mail.

Physical cards can now be ordered from the app.

Yes, got the email yesterday, activated the account and ordered the free VISA card, waiting for its arrival :)

Has anyone successfully tried to contact Revolut support, it’s been a non starter for me. Still waiting to hear from them after 1 month. Tried both email and Twitter channels - total silence - breaks my confidence using them

Seems like the only point of contact is via in-app chat, but it is only for existing customers. The automated Singapore phone hotline is only for blocking of cards

Any reason to switch from YouTrip?

not sure.. waiting in queue, but hopefully it covers some of the big concerns i had with youtrip. e.g. funds loaded in the card cannot be transferred out.

better still, if it allows money transfer out to banks, can leverage on their cheaper exchange rate for cross boarder transfers...

I have the exact concerns as you. I finally got to order my card after 2 years in the waitlist. I'll update you all in the thread when I get mine in 1 week and test out some of the features.

Used these guys in Europe and am so glad they're here. YouTrip's app and features are really poor in comparison. Yes - you can transfer out to banks and do cross border. Still on the waitlist here with 10k+ to go, so please let me know if you know of a way to bump this up (someone said they went from 8k to 1).

I have no trust in the accuracy of the waitlist. I was bumped to the front of the queue of 14,000 on Sunday by referring 2 persons. I'm still in the front of the waitlist now, but the waitlist has shrunk to 12,145. Which means somehow at least 1,855 pax have gotten their invites before me, excluding those new to the waitlist lols.

The terms say can't withdraw at local ATM. Not sure about local transfer yet.

This is a big issue to me, if the app itself got issue when I am overseas then that’s it 🙁

using ios 13.1, the app quite buggy when I tried to top up today.
Had to try 3-4 times, keyboard not appearing to key in amount and submit otp.
the FAQs gives convoluted answers that never really answer much
no human support, only chatbots
