The limit is per card.
Card that was added ~1 month ago, can add $2k.
Just added another card, $420 per day for 2 days, then $430 per day for 3 days. The limit increment is a joke.

It is a prepaid account, not a bank. So use it as what it is, not what it is not.

Don't put your saving into it.

Think revolut just implement 3ds through in-app approval rather than SMS. Quite cool, no need to wait for sms

Seems like Revolut not so good for MYR. Money changer rate today is 1SGD=MYR3.057; Revolut only 1SGD=MYR3.0505.

However, for Yen and GBP, especially Yen, Revolut's rate is much better than money changer.

Anyone can chime in on their opinions or experiences!

YEN/GBP are global currencies and there are active global market for them.

MYR is a regional currency and the interbank rate is not as good as black market one which is close to the one money changer uses.

Was desperate for cash. Just went in and withdraw from a Cathay united bank in a family Mart. No bank fees.

Anyone withdrawn cash in Taipei recently? Any ATM which doesn't charge withdrawal fee? Get conflicting answers regarding taishin and Cathay united ATM when I googled.

Tried to withdraw some cash from Malaysia Genting Highland CIMB ATM early this month. Better than money changer in SG.
Confirmed no additional fees or bank charges if withdraw less that SGD350.

how much worse are the rates?

when i compare rates between the manual exchange for both mco and youtrip, youtrip win by 0.015%~0.15% higher than mco... seems pretty negligible to me, or is there any fees involved? (i only take the numbers given right before the confirm and exchange)

MCO card rate is worse than Youtrip.

I have the indigo card with 3% rebate. It makes up for the slight differences.

MYR is not one of the holding currency u could exchange in advance.
U could add the currency pair SGD to MYR to monitor this on the go in the App just before proceeding with MYR transactions.
