Tried withdraw RM from JB Maybank ATM today morning, no charges.


Exchange Rate better than Money Changer.

Did you actually try? 7-bank charges a fee based on the card issuer and depending on the time attempted.

I tried Revolut at 7-bank during their office hours on a weekday, got billed 100 yen (+tax) per 10k withdrawn, same with CIMB atm card. Surprisingly only using transferwise the ATM didn't ask for a fee.

that's very good. i saw at people park centre yesterday night is 3.054, but revolut even beat that.... power siah

Use youtrip at JB maybank atm last Saturday. Ex. rate 3.062, but there is a $5 fee youtrip charge for atm withdrawal. No bank fee though.

Read from Revolut blog that in Japan 711 ATM, Revolut MasterCard does not have ATM fee but Revolut Visa has ATM fee.

For SG issued Revolut card, user just have Visa unlike UK users can choose to order either MasterCard or Visa.

May I know which credit cards do not need OTP when topping up? I am using Std Chart and every time I top up, I need to key in OTP. I will not be able to receive OTP when overseas cos I am using local sim. Thanks.

local sim can also receive SMS OTP for banking at no extra charges ...

then cannot ... thot "local" meant SG ... :o

put SG sim into spare phone or top up when on wifi with SG sim in phone

Anyone managed to top up Revolut using GPMC in default SGD currency? I tried to do so but my Revolut says my GPMC is in USD and the "bank" will convert to SGD based on their rates.

I don't have problem in using GPMC with Youtrip in SGD though.
