Got it. Thanks for your response. Very helpful.

Is CIMB StarSaver a better proposition for local cash withdrawals at ATMs abroad?

CIMB StarSaver ATM card has a 1% Visa processing fee. But there is no monthly limit of SGD 350 withdrawal, and not necessarily a different weekend vs. weekday rate. Withdrawing from own bank account and therefore no worry about going overlimit. Most ATMs are "Plus" ATMs and maybe one could even get lucky if one finds a CIMB ATM in Malaysia, Indonesia, or Cambodia or Thailand.

The local ATM operator charge would apply irrespective and as you say it is unavoidable. Two years ago, these were ATMs with zero local operator charges that I knew of:

Vietnam: Eximbank, TPBank, SeA Bank, Military Bank
Taiwan: Bank of Taiwan, Chang Hwa Commercial Bank

And if the CIMB SS account isn't to be used regularly, it would entail withdrawing back to the regular SG bank account but that is routine.
How do you know the banks are not charging withdrawal fees? Is there some online list or you tried out at the ATM direct?

Worth it if you also transfer money overseas. Cap is the $30k spending limit, so $300 cashback.

transfer to overseas account also consider as spending?

btw the 1% rebate is for ALL spending regardless local or overseas correct?

Bank account top up no need to do anything, you just do it from bank side. Transfer and it will reflect on revolut.

anyone use their Revolut card for overseas online merchant such as Aliexpress?

I have been using my DBS debit card for Aliexpress payment and the most recent transaction got hit with a 2.8% FX fee, which is the first time i have seen this extra charge. I have made many purchases from Aliexpress before using the same DBS debit card and there was no "FX fee"

wondering if Revolut also have the fee, can't seem to find any info for online overseas merchant fees on their website.

Hi all, I’m new to cards that don’t charge fees for foreign currency transactions. May I know if UOB Absolute or GPMC can be used to top up Revolut?

Just signed up Revolut last week. Topped up $100 from bank transfer.
Also added a virtual card number into simplyGo.

However, took public transport for the last 5 days, my Revolut acc just debited $0.30 (3 x $0.10) transactions. Is this correct?
My SimplyGo also never show any transaction.

Mastercard only post once a week for transport.
