I just did a transfer from Revolut to a DBS bank account(not a linked bank account). I just wonder, if there are limits to this type of transaction?

Just did an online payment from SGD to MYR on weekday, Revolut rate was 3.367 while I checked local money changes is 3.35, however saw a 1% fees charged for weekend, though I did this on Monday SG time. Wonder how Revolut captures weekend.

Is it SGD350 free cash withdrawal per month? If exceed this amount, what is the additional cost?
Which are the types of ATMs overseas that allows to withdraw? Intend to use this in Bali next month.
using Rev debit card to make purchases overseas, is it much better than using normal banks credit cards? This is 5K limit per month I presume.

Spend

Revolut Card ATM Withdrawals (international only)

  • Withdrawals at international ATMs (ATMs outside of Singapore) at up to S$350 per rolling month are free. Anything over the above limits is charged at 2% of value of the amount withdrawn.
  • Please note that the ATM provider may still charge you a fee for making an ATM withdrawal.
  • ATM withdrawals are not permitted in Singapore.

Can Revoult be used for currencies that are not listed in the list of currencies in the wallet? How can we check the exchange rate in such cases?

Yes for those currencies it will use spot rate. Theres a currency calculator in app. However i noticed that there will be slight rates difference.

How do I access the calculator? I seem to only see the one for exchanging currencies for the wallet.

For THB, will the 1% fee still apply if using spot rates?

Spot rates exchange will still form part of the $5,000 limit, right?

ok applied

so we can chg all SGD to THB n store n use in thailand corrcet?

if we dun see some currency mean we cannot store eg MYR ?
but we still can scan n pay in MY correct?

thanks!
not sure why you're using Revolut for THB. revolut has a surcharge specifically for THB since years ago. i will never use Revolut for THB

Fees during Foreign Exchange Market Hours for Standard Plan Customers
THB: 1.0%
Fees outside Foreign Exchange Market Hours for Standard Plan Customers
THB: 2.0%

I’ve read that too, why only THB got extra surcharge even during weekday? I might opt for Wise for THB during weekend if YT rate is not favorable. Good idea?

Just Curious. So in this case, they will convert the full 10,500 yen from SGD balance?

Since 10,500 yen is within 500 SGD
