If plan to put
Are you guys planning to place 1 month only? (because, it is incremental funds from the previous month). For myself, I will not be able to capitalize on it for Dec, because I have funds in my account now. Will empty it out on Nov 30, and place it all back on Jan 1. So, I will only benefit this bonus interest for 1 month.
If you plan to place in Jan, why need to empty out all funds on Nov 30?

Should be based on end day balance of Dec 1.

So can you share if you are using your own name for both accounts? Or are you using 2 different names? Or are you using your own name for one account, and your name and a family member’s name for the other account as joint account?
people say can. but i am not going to risk it. 2 different names, confirm got no problem

Hi. Anyone able to do a fund transfer from RHB HYSA to Maybank i-savvy successfully?
Mine doesn't work and called the call centre but they can't tell why. I can transfer to SCB, DBS, UOB, HSBC all no problem except for Maybank.....
I did. Did you check your fund transfer limit? I was frustrated at being unable to transfer at first. Then it struck me that it could be the transfer limit.

Thanks for the reply. I checked the transfer limits in both HYSA and Maybank. Both OK. In fact, I used $1 to test. Tried transferring from SCB to Maybank no problem.

Any got Joint PP account? How do the bank calculate TRB in this case? Individually?
So if say got 1 month fund shift out from both person's RHB accounts and this PP joint account, then got double fall below fee $40? Or still $20?

Not sure if it is because you chose MBB (Malayan Banking Berhad) as the bank when you setup your payee. It should be " Maybank SINGAPORE Limited ".

1.3Interest will be calculated daily based on the credit balances (excluding cheque deposits that have not been cleared) in the Account standing at the end of the day based on a 365-day year. Such interest will be credited at the end of the month. Except for the Premier Plus Account, no interest will be paid if the daily balance falls below the prevailing prescribed minimum amount for the Accounts other than a Premier Plus Account. On closing of an Account, only interest that has been credited into the Account will be paid.
The highlight part reads a bit weird. But does it mean if PP balance is below 200K, bank can don't pay interest to us?

For customers who open a new account during the campaign month, the average daily balance for the previous month will be recognised as S$0, which means that all funds deposited in the account opening month will be eligible for 3.5% bonus interest.

I think RHB got spammed too much over last few months that it had to make this explicit.

It states PP is exception.

If you alternate between you and your wife, you should open HYSA, for 200K.

Also, for 200K, HYSA interest is 883.33, EIR 1.8+3.5 = 5.3%. Where does 916 come from?
