RIG Build Recommendation

Hi Guys,

I would be using the RIG for:
1) intensive autocad, photoshop, 3D max softwares (heavy rendering)
2) watch streaming video and surf Internet.

Budget will be 2K which will include:
1) Keyboard, Monitor, Mouse and WiFi


No Overclocking will be needed.

1. Wait for AMD Ryzen. Coming out very soon in 1-2 weeks. Price likely to be competitive and offer 8 cores 16 threads.

Optional Add-ons:
1) CPU Cooler for quieter operation and cooler overall system temp:

Good for long hours rendering/intensive workload.
2) Speakers of your own choice. Monitor have speakers but pretty small. You could try first see loud enough or not before getting a set of external speakers. Unless you have headset and gonna use them, then you can overlook this option.
3) Case fan. You can add 2 more 120mm case fan but up to you. Case already come with 2 fans set at 1x front intake 1x top exhaust.

Do you think I need a Quadro series graphic rather than 1060? and 32 GB RAM instead of 16 GB?

Read from some engineering forum that there's no difference in quadro and gtx. While quadro cards claimed to be better in creating precision calculation, there are some user who uses gtx card says it doesn't matter. Quadro cards are very expensive too.

If you got enough budget to go for 32gb ram, go ahead by all means.

theres a vid on LTT that shows the difference between graphics card processing for video/photo rendering. You can make reference to that for some rough idea in cost vs time saved.
