Rig for Witcher 3 High Setting & future games

Hi,

My current rig is i5 760 2.8 ghz, 2gb 6950 HD Gpu, 1TB WD Harddisk, MOBO MSI P55A-G55,
PSU 620w, 3 CPU Fan (1 with blue light), Coolermaster Side Panel is transparent Casing and 8GB Ram.

Recommend full set of CPU, sound with similiar casing.

Will use back usb keyboard, mouse, speaker, lcd.

I had my window 7 os disc. Or is it better to buy a new os disc? Now win 8?

Budget -> as low will be better with 12 gb ram, well-ventilated cpu fan. Casing must be cooling. Will put on fredde workstation low right self.

Wait for skylake..? Can reuse windows 7, free upgrade to Windows 10.

If want to reuse some parts can reuse ram...? What speed is the ram though?

you can certainly continue to use Win 7, and be prepared to go online and get M$ support to reactivate your windows key.

What's your screen resolution though? If 1080p maybe can consider 970, 290X. Amd maybe poorly optimized for witcher though.

If reuse ram maybe can go back to haswell... Because from COMPUTEX, most 100 chipset mobo uses ddr4 only, but no confirmations as of yet.

Broadwell up and coming. Haswell refresh is still relevant;Broadwell offers little gains apart from igpu improvement. If 720p don't need super powerful bah hahaha. Maybe a R9 280/760/960 will be more than enough?

2TB SSD where to find, 1TB already 650 for cheapest model. 500gb is good for normal usage, then other less important app reuse your

Wrong. Skylake supports both DDR4 and DDR3 RAM. It is whether your mobo use DDR4 or DDR3.

Broadwell ddr3 z97/h97.

Skylake for time being looks like most boards use ddr4.

Seriously witcher 3 high setting look near the same with console ps4, and since even i7 920 is still plenty sufficient for current game. All i suggest you get a r9 280x for moba or RTS game like Dota2, Total War, at most get a SSD. Windows 7 remains solid so just reuse your license.

Every studios are making game for console then port to PC so a ps4 is all you need to play future game.

No lagg, cos i don't have a faster processor to compare it with thats why asking expert opinion. Afterall its like 5 generations later compared to my current one, see if helps with frame rates for the latest games

I like pc because got mod. Sometime can use trainer too.
