Rig ideas

Hi folks, looking to upgrade my current set up. Budget is around 2k for the following items:

mobo + CPU (looking at Gigabyte Z170-3DH + i7 6700k)
CPU cooler (already have CM Hyper EVO, upgrade candidate?)
GPU (looking at Gigabyte R9 390, can't find any 290x)
casing (looking at FD Define R5)
PSU (corsair RM850?)
RAM kit (any suggestion?)

HDD, SSD likely to keep (already have 250GB samsung EVO 840, might want to upgrade to 500GB EVO 850).

Any suggestions?

Board and CPU, do you overclock? If not, there is no need for 6700K. RAM wise, actually don't even need any set. Get the GSkill DDR4 2400 value ram. It can easily oc to 2800. On a good board can even hit 3000. I am using it now.

don't intend to OC.. but advice from a friend is that the K version has better resale value.

what's the premium that I have to pay for a RAM kit versus value RAM? I reckon in the region of 40$?
