mobo out of warranty? i would rma if still got warranty. otherwise, i suggest going for am5 over am4, a decent 7500f + msi pro b650m-a doesn't cost too much more than that 5700x combo. granted u do have to get ddr5, but u can find decent kits around $150, which i feel is worth for the greatly improved gaming performance and platform longevity. do keep in mind that the last mainstream am4 cpu (5800x3d) launched more than 1.5y ago, with no more on the horizon.

either will do fine with a 750w psu. the 3070 may be harder to procure since it has already been superseded by the 4070, most places are clearing stock of it nowadays. if u can find one for a bargain (say $500 or less brand new), then it can be a good choice.

ya the mobo out of warranty, ok will based on your rig recommendation thread to buy the parts.

Actually was just following your recommendation to buy not noticing that 3070 is the previous gen, will take either 4070 or 7800 depending on stock availability if the prices are not too far apart

Thank you so much for the advise.

Thanks
