Hi,

Need expert help on this.

My 2 year old rig was ok until recently blue screens start to appear and now it's not working. The screen shows disk boot failure so I used Windows to boot up.

Thought of reinstalling windows but the SATA drivers didn't show up. Does that mean that my SATA III HDD is not working ie need to reformat? I can't locate the drivers anywhere...

Would appreciate any expert advice on this. If repair is needed, can recommend any reliable shops? West side if possible..

Thanks.

Check for bad sectors first lor. Use crystaldiskinfo. This is to confirm that your hard disk is spoilt, going to spoil etc. But should be disk going spoil. I also had a Seagate had bad sector until keep hanging / bsod. And finally boot error. Then decided change
