Rig to recommend?

Hi guys, my current rig is an AMD Phenom II X4 B50 (additional 2 cores "unlocked") w/ 4GB RAM and ATI Radeon 5850.

Served me well in the last 3 yrs, but recently when the the PC goes into sleep/power saving mode sometimes cannot wake it up.

Also on boot up, sometimes hear x1 long beep then x3 quick short beeps, and PC refuses to boot and no image on screen. Restarting also no use.

Thinking of upgrading my parts....thinking of the i5-3470, at least 8GB of RAM. Heard the 7870 Myst is a good GPU also?

I mainly use it for office stuff, occasional gaming (Dishonored, Hitman, Batman, etc but definitely not hardcore)

Any recommendations, incl assembly? I think the only parts I can salvage are the OS+HDD and casing (Cooler Master, cant remeber model no.). Hoping this new rig will last me for the next 3-5 yrs again...

Hey buddy if you planning one to last get next generation haswell cpu from intel which is due to hit the market by 2 months time may 3 month, really try to hold out for that one.
