Rig transplant/upgrade. Some advice needed.

I'm giving this PC to my wife, and am getting a new one for myself, while salvaging the following for my new PC:
8Gb ram (leaving 4Gb for my wife's PC)
Asus Essence STX + Audioengine A5
HD 6850 GPU
Dell 2209WA

Current plan for my new PC is as follows:
i5-4570 + Asrock H87M-Pro4 - $375 (TradePac)
Plextor M5P 128Gb - $172 (PC Themes)

Still can't decide on casing though. Torn between Silverstone TJ08-E and Fractal Design Define Mini.

To complete wife's PC, will be getting the following:
Dell P1913 - $189 (Dell website)
Creative GigaWorks T20 II - $129

Need some advice on a reliable modular PSU (~500W), and some comments on the casings I've mentioned to push me either way.

Will need suggestions for a cheap but good 3rd party cpu cooler and a new set of case fans (are yate loons still available?). My current setup is a CM Hyper 212 running a push-pull config using a pair low speed yate loons, with 2 more yate loons for intake and 1 exhaust. My setup idles at 26C, full load while gaming (BF3, D3, Far Cry3) at 38C.

Also, any alternatives for good quality 2.0 speakers?

Total budget for upgrade is about 1k (not counting speakers).

Where are you placing the casing? If placing on the floor, Fractal Design's front IO panel is located at the top so it might be easier for you.

Casing will be on the table. But since it is a mATX casing and hence not so tall, the fact that the IO panel is on top is not too much of an issue.

I've more or less decided on the Define Mini (compared to the TJ08-E) for 2 reasons:
- more internal space to build.
- casing opening is on left instead of right (as I place my CPU on the left of my desk)

For PSU, I've read through a few threads here, and see quite a few recommendations for the FSP Platinum 550W for $125 (which I presume is from Tradepac). I have a FSP Hexa in my HTPC so I have no issues with the brand.
Any other recommendations?

Would also like suggestions for an air cooling setup. Was thinking along the lines of a CM Hyper 212, but a quick look at their website shows 4 different models. Am I right to presume that although they don't show compatibility with LGA1150, they should fit as the CPU mounting hasn't changed from LGA1155? Also, the CM Hyper 212 EVO should suffice right?

Also, where can I buy low/medium speed yate loon 120mm fans? If no longer available, how about GTs? What other relatively low cost, but decent quality fans are there?

I don't think there's a need for an aftermarket cooler if it's for your i5 4570.

Also, please change those Creative speakers to something decent The HiVi Swans M10 or a pair of Kurzweils are better at roughly the same price. They should be available for demo at Cybermind.

i suggest get 256gb ssd or drop to m5s. its already fast enough can save 40. as for fans cm sickle flow is good. if u connect to 3pin fan header can reduce speed frm 2k to 1.2k rpm. or go ebay buy blue led case fans for 4 dollar each. it spins at 1k rpm. also no need to buy cpu cooler.

Hi TS 1155 3rd party hsf can mount on 1150. Well most can..so the hyper shud be no issues. U can try go blue forum or hwz marketplace see if anyone selling yates. Bt for ssd get 256gb if u can more value for $$.
