Processor: i7-860
HDD: WD Green 1TB
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 4670
RAM: 8GB
PSU: 650W

What upgrade do I need to play the latest games? I assume I can still keep the CPU & add SSD + upgrade GPU. Let's say I keep the upgrade cost under $600.

SSD hoot from Amazon now
Got BF deal now. I bought 2 kingston SSD 120gb at 70USD each :D Free shipping

I think you would need to upgrade your GPU. The gigabyte R9 280x is going at $435 now.

Unless 256gb

Crucial M500 240gb ~ $235

Either MSI or Giga r9 280x Price for this 2 varies from $425-$440

120gb for SSD is enough if you just want to boot your OS and run a few games straight off SSD.

I realised that 240gb is close to double of 120gb in terms of pricing, so not that worth it if you're budget conscious.

Would prefer 240GB/256GB as long as it's <$1/GB
How much is MSI R9-280X?

I feel that R9-280X is too over power, how much is Nvidia GTX760 these days? Would prefer MSI.

$440 and may be slightly below.

GTX760? MSI is not value for money right now.

MSI GTX760 2gb Twin Frozr ~ $395

Gigabyte r9 280x ~ $425

Locally, only the plextor M5S 256gb is going for $239 and Crucial M500 240gb is going for $235... Other than that, nothing else le. And i believe offer will end once Sitex is over, maybe not for the M5S.

760 should be around $330-$400, depending on brand.

What the... GTX760 is still in the 400+- range? That sucks man... :( :( :s22:

Because GTX760 has no direct competition from AMD.

There are GTX760 at $325 though.

Arranging from the most ex to cheapest

Asus
EVGA
MSI
Giga
Leadtek
Zotac
Palit

if you can afford to wait can get the following from amazon

evga gtx 760 super clocked -249 usd ~ 320 sgd + 2 free games (warranty send to Taiwan, convergent can help you send back with a handling fee if you're lazy)

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...eASIN=B00DHW4HXY&linkCode=as2&tag=15111992-20

You are right. EVGA local warranty centre is their Taiwan office, users who bought from overseas will need to apply for RMA number with EVGA and ship back to Taiwan.

If you need Convergent's assistance in the RMA shipment, same thing, apply for RMA online with EVGA and walk-in to Convergent service centre with the RMA number & hardware. Convergent Systems will charge a handling fee for the shipment.

If you have no problem in shipping it direct to EVGA Taiwan warranty centre, please do so as it is recommended to ensure no delay through a middle-man.

crucial ssd 145 usd ~ 185sgd about .74/1gb

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...eASIN=B00BQ8RM1A&linkCode=as2&tag=15111992-20
