Rig upgrade

Built my rig in 2013 for 1080p 144hz gaming, rig is as per the stats on the right of the screen, although recently upgraded to a zotac 1070 amp. Been wanting to do some photo & video editing, so would like to upgrade to i7, if I wish to do this what would I have to overhaul completely and what can I keep like would the ram have to be changed to ddr4 or the mobo needs to be changed etc.

Do local stores still sell them? Or would online be cheaper, I saw on Amazon an i7 4790 is going for about SGD475

How much would I have to spend to upgrade to Skylake? I'd have to replace the Mobo + CPU + RAM am I right?

Skylake wise, there's some DDR3 board, but not many, so yes, you will have to replace them
