Anyone been to the outlet opposite KIX before? I am considering if I should drop by the Outlets after touching down KIX at around 7am. By the time I collected luggage should be around 8.30am max. I can move on to Rinkutown for breakfast and some Rinkutown recce while waiting for the outlet to open at 10am.

the online review on that place is mixed, and one trouble for me that intend to take Haruka is that I need to go back to KIX to take Haruka for Shin-Osaka(then to Nishinakajima-Minamikata via Midosuji metro line).

I have already planned for Mitsui Tsurumi(Osaka) and Mitsui Tarumi(Kobe).

Thanks

wah, really good one? What do you normally buy from there?

What about Osaka Tsurumi and Kobe Tarumi do they worth the time? Any other easy to reach Outlets to recommend in Kansai?

Rinku town compared to gotemba ?

Which one more worth it ? Rinku town seems more accessible but not sure if discount better and more shops.

Is this a nice place for shopping? Saw some reviewers say the place like "doctors more than patient":s13:

I went there because this was the only shopping and eating place near the airport. There's a few factory outlets but I didn't manage to go in.

It's not a bad place and its frequented by locals

When I was leaving. My flight was a 7am flight.

If you're landing, it might not be a good choice as you would have to lug around the stuff while travelling to your other places.

Btw, the go back to KIX step is not that difficult as you can take any train towards KIX and the Haruka express will be at the same platform.

depends on what you want to buy. If there's nothing, can take photo of the ferris wheel and see the scenery-it's near to the sea, so please prepare for strong cold wind and bits of rain if you intend to visit there end Nov onwards

yes, will be pulling the luggage around or store them in lockers. Will reach KIX at 7am. So I will take the train then wait for the shuttle service. Like what you said, will go back to KIX to take Haruka, as my hotel is just one stop from Shin Osaka.

For me, since I dont shop. I will rent a bike to cycle around and will go for a dip in their onsen. If their fish market is open will also drop by to check it out:

yeah, i keep reading mixed review about it. I am not a shopper myself, so I dont know how to judge one anyway.

Which Kobe outlet you have gone to? Sanda or Marine PIA? I have planned for both.

the last time I was in Osaka, I purposely book a night near to Rinkutown one night before our departure. Then pop by to the outlet for some shopping and even a new samsonite luggage and pack everything for a early departure

Just don't have high hopes for that place, especially since you're already planning to go other factory outlets.

Btw, what's the place you're staying that is near shin Osaka? Looking for a base for day trips to Kyoto.

yeah bro, now I am cracking my head hard on this. The detour from Rinkutown back to KIX to take the Haruka is bit off putting. Couple with the limited schedule of Haruka..

We are going to stay at Consort Hotel. Its next to Midosuji Line's stn(Nishinakajimaminamikata) & Hankyu's Minamikata. Quite good location if you visit Kyoto often and connects well with Kobe too. Just one stop south of SHIN-OSAKA, so Shinkansen ride is convenient too.

Thanks!

Anyway, if Rinku Town is your destination upon reaching Japan, I don't really think it's a good idea. Great as a last location

Bro, glad to hear that. Is there any interesting places within walking distance around the hotel? Just in case certain days come back early, so can go visit nearby places.
