Peanut butter is health .. as with anyth good .. or healthy or unhealthy just in moderation
Going to stop soon after finishing the current ones as it raises my LDL (triglycerides went down a whopping 59% the past month) though not so much on blood sugar

Peanut butter cholesterol is good creator of hdl , e gd cholesterol.. lkk thinks it s yr other intake of trans fat or maybe saturated fats ? Eg fatty parts from animal / animal organs (not fish)

Besides PB,all I jiak is just cauliflower, broccoli, hard boiled egg for lunch, and steamed chicken/salmon with poached eggs for dinner

So do you mean it might be due to the roasted chicken?

Besides PB,all I jiak is just cauliflower, broccoli, hard boiled egg for lunch, and steamed chicken/salmon with poached eggs for dinner

Chicken n roasted mode mostly is v little oil left .. I think it’s mostly ok. Maybe eat slightly lesser the fatty bits underneath chicken skin lesser ?
i would guess it s any trans fat from e sauces or Fried things from outside food ?

None of it at all
As I have said, I everyday jiak cauliflower, broccoli and a hard boiled egg for lunch
Dinner, either steamed chicken or steamed salmon and two poached eggs
I don't jiak mutton,pork,beef so red meat is impossible

At most, I only jiak the tiny piece of mcspicy meat (without skin, the mayo sauce and the buns) ,4pcs of potato wedges and 1/3 of the fillet o'fish ,just once

my thought is this
Maybe try an exercise a bit bit and eat less chick skin fat less 20% ? I think it could be medication side effect ?

Didn't really consume on statins, the only good thing for the latest cholesterol test is the triglycerides which had dropped a 59%

Googled about high LDL with low triglycerides

Started to jiak statins again after getting the latest report, want to lower down the LDL

The past diet only increased my HDL by 3mg/DL
Going to stop taking statins since the doc said I can don't take it anymore if I carry on with my clean diet ,but that was because he never saw my Apr report

Current statins left with 15 pills

If u don’t smoke, then u could be having 2nd and 3rd hand smoke: from your work environment

2nd hand smoke is people around u is smoking.
3rd hand smoke is the room walls furniture etc has smoke cos clients smoke in it

Smoking will lower HDL

Oh I don't know what happened but I do not sweat as easily as before

It's been like a month since I sweat so much (except the two times I went out for a walk, but even so, I didn't sweat as much too)
Body too 虚 also will sweat easily

Eat more of the deep sea fishes Eg tuna sardines salmon can increase ur hdl.. I uds this two exist in balance
If ur good one is high then bad ldl can mostly kept within a range it’s ok alr

Your May LDL is 135 vs April 75.
May HDL is 43 vs April 39.

1. April LDL 75 - did you have this number with Statin intake or without? If with, then it will be likely this low number (75 looks like a 'statined' number for your case).

2. May LDL 135 - I assume this higher number is without taking statin from your text.

In my experience, a diet will take about 3 months to see the 'more true' effects. Your current one-month only into your clean diet maybe too short to conclude much (and therefore, it you have not been taking statin before your clean diet, then you should not start / re-start your statin (else you can't really see whether clean diet really working over longer term for you or not). The statin decision may be made after three months of clean diet.)

LDL135 is not that high to carry in your system for another 2 months (of clean diet). Probably after 3 months of clean diet and this number still doesnt improve, then talk to doctor about your statin decision.

*pls do not suka suka start / stop statin coz this will cause harm to your body as your system will get confused of suddenly more / less cholesterol and the organs may give up auto adjusting / mal-function and lead to more serious metabolic syndrome.

**with a clean diet for 3 months, my LDL managed to drop about 20%. Since diet proved working for me, I continue with it (most of the time) without statin. Meaning if it didn't work, then I would have started statin (which was the agreement with my doctor to go without statin for the 3-month clean diet trial).

Clean diet may or may not work coz of individual's 'cholesterol production' condition in the system (but will work most of the time). So, be patient to dong three months to see your own 'verdict'.

Since he is seeing doctor, he should work with the doctor closely so that the doctor is able to provide the correct solution and medication.

All along seldom take statins, except recently after getting the latest report

Need to do a test by dropping out peanut butter because it is the only food I eat that has the highest fats

Same advice I had given to TS on his Metformin meds. It takes months to reach steady state for it's therapeutic value.

TS tend to react to readings and take action too soon, not realising it can be a multi factorial problem.

There are of course other types of readings that are more time critical and require urgent action.
