Normally how much you paid for the sale fee ?
For UT, i using poems, 0% sales charge. Think fsm also came. U go check checkNormally how much you paid for the sale fee
FSMone is the focus funds that is 0% under the promo, not all 0%.For UT, i using poems, 0% sales charge. Think fsm also came. U go check check
There are some UTs perhaps exclusive to DBS i guess, like Manulife Reits Fund. It might be some collaboration relationship? Like dbs seems to have manulife insurance and somehow feel they are linked to nikko am.FSMone is the focus funds that is 0% under the promo, not all 0%.
only recently then realise POEMs is 0%. but how do you compare the range of UT they have versus FSMone? i realise some UT that DBS carries POEMs don't have so wondering if you have a clue of the wideness of range.
Well, there is a big difference there which you don't know? Let's get you educated then:A broker is a "middleman," and usually the broker charges commissions to buy individual stocks. Do you have something else in mind?

Yes, generally ETF track index, Unit Trust beat index, that's why the fee is higher. If I were to bluntly put it. Etf generally tracks an index or a sector or thematic whatever you call it. Why ppl invest in unit trust? Because some fund managers can invest in equities and can beat the index. Actually not difficult to beat index but many funds have constraints hence always fail to beat index. After deducting the high cost, you lugi more so in the end, many ppl prefer to invest in index
Usually fund house got few good UT enough already, there are too many factors to affect the performance.I heard lionglobal not good but i got buy hst and yyy.. also the all seasons fund.
Actually uob united also not that good for some of its funds... Another one I dun like is Fullerton.
I see... Which are the UTs that u feel are good?Usually fund house got few good UT enough already, there are too many factors to affect the performance.
I go for high risk type, emerging market and tech.I see... Which are the UTs that u feel are good?
I personally like Allianz income and growth.
Actually one of the most solid cheap trust is Scottish mortgage investment trust. Their track record is amazing and the expense ratio is super low. Other unit trust usually charge 2%.I go for high risk type, emerging market and tech.
Income or growth usually very slow and low return.
Take note: when market crash, low risk or high risk UT, all drop together.
UNITED E-COMMERCE FUND SGDActually one of the most solid cheap trust is Scottish mortgage investment trust. Their track record is amazing and the expense ratio is super low. Other unit trust usually charge 2%.
https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/...d-scottish-mortgage-investment-trust.6566544/Not sure whether it will perform as well as “Berkshire Hathaway”. I feel 2-3 years beating index is easy. Warren buffet did it for 20 years only underperforming lately because they don’t understand tech
Wa, this one never see before leh. Later i go look look. I have the united sgd fund. Just sold off recently.UNITED E-COMMERCE FUND SGD
Local one good enough![]()
Etf isit those that are listed on Singapore stock exchange?Or is it private company?
I mean will the fund manager/house will collapse ?
Any fund manager/house collapse before?
If we buy different Allianz funds , and Allianz collapse , is it mean that all our Allianz unit trust will gone?
(Ex: Allianz Europe Equity Growth , Allianz China A-Shares , ALLIANZ THEMATICA AMG H2-SGD DIS .... )
Why people buying unit trust vs ETFS?
Will unit trust like bonds that had different term like Callable date, reset the coupon rate..?
Will unit trust like stock that will issue right, Stock split , stock privatize or delisted?
Thank you all senior here for the help.
Unit trust is established under a trust deed, and the investor is effectively the beneficiary of the trust.I mean will the fund manager/house will collapse ?
