Hey any 1 knows when rma-ing pc components in sg,

The exchange policy is base on purchase value of defective product or at distrp discretion?

I just rma my 660ti at ban leong and they offered me a 960. Say it's either take this or wait for 4 to 6 weeks for them to send overseas for repair.

Is 960 a similarly good card?
I took their offer anyway.
Could not afford to wait 4-6weeks

Just wana know if it was a fair value exchange since i purchase the 660ti when it was just release at 500bux

660Ti is about $150 second-hand. You can sell your 960 for $250+.

Normally they will do a 1 to 1 exchange for the same card. But if its old or they no more stock, they will replace it with a generally current gen card of similar performance on the scale. They won't look at the price.

I had a friend who's gtx 670 spoil 2 weeks before warranty, ban Leong gave him a gtx 970. Good deal that one. Both cards are similarly priced at release.

wow... ur friend damn lucky.

no complains tho. this 960 is so quiet, consumes less power and performs like a 670.:)
