Discovered that if initiating RMA via their website, it appears that the only option is to send them the HDD at own cost before they will send you a replacement.

However, according to this URL: https://www.seagate.com/sg/en/support/service-centers/

There's an option to bring it in but need to create a RMA order prior.

The two possible locations are:


Digital Hospital​

1 Rochor Canal Road #03-40 Sim Lim Square Singapore 188504
Operating Hours: 10:00 - 19:00 (Monday to Friday) Closed: Every Saturday & Sunday

myhalo CircularXchange - Digital Hospital​

200 Victoria Street #03-25 Bugis Junction Singapore 188021
Operating Hours: 11:00 - 20:00 (Monday to Sunday) Closed: On Public Holiday
Please note that this is a Drop off point only. Replacement will be shipped to your door step.

Anyone with recent experience if one were to bring the HDD to Digital Hospital @ SLS, do they do a 1-1?

Because it appears that if bring it to the Bugis Junction one, it's only a drop off.

My recent RMA experience with Seagate (earlier this year) for Ironwolf Pro, also drop off at the SLS outlet. Then they will deliver the replacement HDD to your home. Same process of creating the RMA request online prior the drop off. No onsite 1-1.

Recent experience for onsite 1-1, only local warranty of WD and HGST HDD at the toa payoh outlet.

Toshiba I never tried RMA.....yet.​

Wah, cannot remember liao. :LOL:

Maybe you can check with the CSO when you drop off the drive? I like kind of remembered I ask him. Cannot remember how long coz I not urgent for the RMA replacement since I immediately put in a new spare drive for resilvering after my data pool report the failure on the spot.​
