Hi,

I'm planning on buying a Retina MacBook Pro but I can't decide on which model to get, 13 or 15 inch.

Main usage of the rMBP would be for Photoshop editing as well as document processing ( MS Office for Mac ). Besides that would be for running Photo editing and Video editing software.

I plan to use the MBP for 5 years (if that's even possible), so can anyone recommend me which model I should get?

since you're already considering the 15" rMBP and you have a budget for it, just get the 15"er...

i believe you'll get a better user experience doing your photo and video editing on a larger screen...

I'm considering because if 13" has no problems with Photoshop whatsoever, I rather pick the 13" because of the lower price point and better portability

But then I agree that bigger screen, better user experience

13" and 15" retinal dose have much difference on portability .
Only air and pro gt diff . I planning to get 15" refurbished from apple store which would save me 500 for 512 gb set

Among the MBPR, only the higher end specs 512gb SSD version comes with dedicated graphics card 750m on top of the iris graphics right ?

If you are doing photo and video editing, an additioinal dedicated graphics card would be good if you have the budget for it.

Can consider refurbish version since it's cheaper and then make sure you get applecare for it.

Yeah, I'm buying from school thus it's about the same price for a Refurbished + AppleCare
