Hi everyone,

If you all were given a choice will you all choose to go SIM - RMIT OR Kaplan - Murdoch University?

The school fee for Murdoch University (double major) and SIM-RMIT are somehow similar. The duration for RMIT is 2 years for FT and Murdoch is around 2 years depending on how many modules you are taking for Full time/part time.

In my own opinion, I feel that RMIT and Murdoch University are of the same track except for the incomparable UOL which was widely well known.

So if you guys were given a choice which one will you choose?

TIA!

both are not the best aussie unis but i do consider RMIT a tad better than murdoch.

if given a choice, most prob RMIT because of SIM, its the best brand for private edn.

With advanced standing it's not v ex, I'll choose SIM as it seems to be better known. Have u been to open houses/researched/talked to ppl in there? Internships/mods offered may vary greatly.

I'm not experienced so take it lightly. :)

I think you should look at 2 things, the ranking of the school, and the course.

Once you decided on the course, check the modules given. Are they the same as being offered to the one on their own campus for students in the same programme?

Next, you might want to compare to other high rank schools, are they offering the same/similar modules? Are you on track as what are the correct modules you need to learn being in the same profession?

I think you need to do A LOT of research and comparison before deciding, making sure your degree is definitely recognized by the intended audience.
