Started with 10k in each account.

Now stashaway - $9,789
Now syfe - $8,907

If i have 10k to invest, i would DCA monthly and not lumpsum so i can sleep well and eat better. This is just my suggestion and strategy.

For my past 2 years in StashAway i have been DCA monthly and invest more when i got my increment/bonus. The return so far is about 10%

Heard that syfe will be launching a new product soon.. Anyone knw more details?

i think i know what you are talking.. heard about it some time back when it was still in UAT stage. But if they do launch it, i wonder what is the core value proposition of their products..

Currently on syfe global ari portfolio with -13% (5k total invested)

Am considering
1) swapping all the funds in that over to the new equity100 portfoilo and accept the loss

2) open equity100 with new fresh fund and move global ari portfolio when it break even which could take substantial time and could cause oppiunity cost.

equity100 looks good on paper so far although 85% of the protfoilo are US based

Anyone in the same situation and thinking of opening equity100?

What is the difference between Syfe equity100 and Stashaway max risk (i assume it is 100% equity as well) portfolio?

The Equity100 is too US-centric for me. Sure they have IEMG and EFA but how many percent of the portfolio do they make up?

I haven't done the risk analysis etc for them to present the allocation to me, but I'd hazard a guess they represent a very small percentage, and the portfolio likely goes very heavy on CSPX, QQQ and XLP.

Which brings me to my next concern. Why both QQQ AND CSPX? To me this is putting too much weights on FAANG and the usual suspects.

Also, with the Fed printing money like crazy, you'd have to consider USD devaluation in the short term. USD depreciating 10-20% against SGD could shave a significant portion off your returns.
Not saying you shouldn't invest in US market, just make sure you have appropriate exposure to other countries as well.

Anyway, just my 2 cents.

They recently switched to a more all weather type portfolio. The max risk (36%) got a mix of US equities, US reits, international equities, gold
