Does rooting void my warranty?

Yes. From what I know so far, there isn't any exploit that doesn't trip KNOX. Once Knox is tripped, you won't be able to change it back, won't be able to use samsung pay, and of course warranty is considered void.

Yes, no Samsung pay, Andriod pay and some bank application will refuse to install if phone is rooted.

by right people wont declare to you its rooted cos the status will show as official once they factory reset it. That was what happned to me when i bought a second hand. tried to install samsung pay but failed so i had to sell off and get another one.

advice to those bro getting second hand; please go into recovery mode and you can easily see whether knox is tripped or not.

u better try to use your phone for at least 1-2 weeks before u root it.

dun later buy liao straight away root skali got problem then GG :s13: cos no more warranty for u.

i rooted my s7e after 3 days of usage...see stable liao then root.

i sold my rooted s7e to an exporter @ 700 sgd on 23rd june.

FYI, They dun care if it's rooted or not as long ur set is 9.99 /10 condition.

After note 3, I don't see the necessicity to root, for my note 3, whenever I do a reboot, this will be prompt on the very top before samsung screen
set warranty bit: kernel
I am not sure that's the permanent indication after root on all knox firmwares smartphones.

You can unroot it anytime if your phone is rooted.
But you can't reset KNOX once it is triggered.

Warranty void once KNOX is triggered.
