Not really.. Zhl analysis is that if cao cao is dead.. The northen side will go into chao again.. Lb clan is not capable to subdue this chao.. This may even benfit sq as he got more resource to gain more power upward.
All this in fact will hamper his plan toward 三分天下。

Novel talked abt on how satkis the generals r. But in reality no matter how good is that general, without soldiers n resources.. U wont win war...

Also during e later historian finding, go war etc will require a diplomay reason. It is very impt to gain ppl trust. If they really kill cc.. Yes this happen in e drama.. I think e sevond version.. However if u also watch or read abit more on e articles..
It is not as easy as taking over land or etc.. Takinh over castle n govern them require a big group of trusted followers. N resource n presidge for ppl to follow under ur flag.. Reality not like e rpg game when e governor submit to u so easy when u defeat their leader especially if e leader is with them so long.
All in all, zhl need to hav carrot to "coax" lb to gain him permisson n agreed with his execution plan.
