Check w u guys, is UDP worth it for small eater? My wife and I going tomorrow but only we only managed to book 1 UDP during prebooking

Was advised by customer service to book another on board.

Thinking to cancel because my wife is a small eater anyway and the complimentary dining seems OK.

Depends if you want to try Wonderland?

If your first time, good to try all the specialty once on board. Chops is really raved about and Wonderland is worth the refreshing experience.
Jamie not that good but many people say better than on land so worth a try.

Desserts are excellent!

I’m so spoilt I wont go to MDR anymore. If you think service at MDR is good, specialty is tops.

Save your money. Mdr is good enough and superb. Try chop grill a la carte. If you want

So if UDP is sold out before cruise, does it mean it won't be available onboard as well?

I helped you ask.. Chops Grille host is in charge of those dining packages and stuff. He say that if online udp is sold out, high chances not available on board as well. But he mentioned that you can go to him and he can check from the system if the udp is still available. The prices are much higher, in USD and +18% gratuity.

I tried UDP and it is really worth the money even if you are small eater. I suggest you go for it. I think for your case, since you already hold a UDP, they might allow you to purchase another UDP on board, as they know you are travelling as a family and cannot dine alone. Just my thinking only.

For someone that is onboard can you tell me the price for 4 device surf and stream internet is it $13.99 usd per device?

They’re is a cruise planner sale and it’s 31.97 sgd for 4 devices. The 2 device is 24.47 sgd for our March 22nd sailing.

If the price is 13.99 usd on board it makes more sense to get the 3 day package in the cruise planner as it will cost about 25 usd less. Instead of waiting and getting the internet for day 2 and 3 of the cruise only.

Get it from cruise planner sale before u miss the deal. S$31.97 for 4 devices was the lowest i saw during my sail. Onboard u will be charged at USD with 18% gratuities. Quite sure it will be more expensive even if u are getting it for day 2 and 3 of the cruise only.

These were the lowest pricing i saw for surf & stream package:

1 device - S$15.63/day
2 devices - S$24.47/day
3 devices - S$27.19/day
4 devices - S$31.27/day

After that price drop sale, i dun see such pricing anymore.

Yes it looks to be a great price. I booked it and if confirmed the onboard price is more will keep it. Thanks

Royal Caribbean posted on its Q&A website that "The double points offer is exclusive to our most loyal guests, the Crown & Anchor Society members! Members will receive double Cruise Points on bookings made through June 30, 2021 for sailings departing January 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022."

I was initially awarded 6 points for my 3 night cruise departing 04 Jan 2021. But recently i check my account it was reduce to 3 points. Anyone encounter the same issue?

U can’t hotspot a wifi connection..

U need a travel router.. which is 30 plus.. might as well get the wifi package?

Or if your intention is to take turns to use the internet, then just go for one package, and switch devices as and when

Hello! Im going on the cruise in April 3 day 2 night.

Just a few things to ask

How to find if i can book the UDP? I dont see it in the cruise planner website

Also with regards to the wifi

1) VOOM Surf internet package is for stuff with low connection like whatsapp only?
If i want to watch youtube, i need to buy the surf + stream?

2) there will be 3 person in total so do i have to buy 3x 1device package? or can i buy 1x 3device package? I see price different.

Thanks in adv.

Hi, I'm on the 26 April trip. The UDP will be in the Dining Package, if you scroll down some more, together with the rest of the category like Drink Beverages, Internet etc. It will appear on and off. I bought mine at 118 last week and today they send me a promo email. Check the new pricing was 100 so cancelled the previous and bought the new one, saved $30 total for 2 person.

Internet - I bought the 2 device zoom surf + for 1 person, total $66. I guess I will wait for the seniors here to reply. Is my 1st cruise after all.

Thanks for the reply.

Im sailing on 8th April which is 1month away so im afraid the UDP is alr sold out.

However, I will still keep a look out for the UDP promotion.

So for the internet i guess i can buy 3devices for 1 person and share between the 3 of us.

I can book first and if theres any cheaper promotion they will refund the differences right?
