1) You needs to restart as a REC in SAF & gone though BMT since your NSF days is not with SAF.

2) Pte Dip like PSB is not recognize equal to Poly Dip. In short, you cannot sign on as an officer.

These are not mainstream degree programmes recognised by SAF.. but there are people who are officers based on their combat fitness, not degree.

The fact is the Recruitment Centre should sent the candidate's information such as degree to Mindef for verification to confirm recognition if the candidate found suitable for the job.

However the Recruitment Centre's staffs are lazy & stereotype to gone though this process & so they condemn degree from distance learning mode.

They only focus on local university graduates because their degree is confirm & maybe some graduates from onshore on campus degree.

local SIM degree is recognise.. SAF is a government body.. they accept degree so long its recognized by the home country. But anyway you shouldnt ask here, you should just contact recruitment center.

Not true that you must have degree to sign officer, but you need degree to sign on as MDES officer. but then again, if you have a diploma only chances is you will hentak kaki at capt or maj.

However if your diploma is not recognised, i dont think you can sign officer.. their minimum is diploma

Only Poly Dip & GCE A are recognize by SAF to be an Officer which make all Pte Sch Dip useless unlike they study a degree by distance learning mode

Generally, if you were not an NSF officer, SAF will only take you if you have a good degree from a local or equivalent foreign university.

If you were an NSF officer, SAF will pretty much take you regardless of your qualifications. But yes, you will get stuck very fast if you only have a diploma or A Levels.
