RSAF POC/POP Postings

Hey guys! Was keen to start out a centralised thread which allows RSAF NSFs to share their post-BMT vocations!

As for me, I'm a PES E recruit whom just POCed from HRI. Having received an RSAF uniform on enlistment day, I was very affirmed about being posted to an airbase upon passing out. To my surprise, my post-out letter stated that I'm posted to the following venue at 7.30am the next day:

HQ ADOC (Blk 54 Gombak Rise #02-07, Singapore 667988)

I have no idea where this is - I also don't recall any aviation/airport establishments around here. Furthermore, when I rang up the number given they confirmed that there was no mistake. This is weird.. anyone has an idea about what kind of unit this is and how's the life there?

Not all RSAF/ARMY/RSN get posted to Airbase/camp/naval base.

Adoc is a formation under airforce so yup you're in airforce. Quite slack one and they will slot you under a upperstudy and he will show you the ropes if he is nice. If not all the best buddy LOL

How is life there? Is it a stay-in or stay-out unit?? I'm posted to gombak base as ASA...
