Maybe buy from amazon newegg is about $475 sgd. Local mark up price from distro maybe will cost around $550-$600. Just my guess. And seeing that it will perform better then 1070ti its pretty worth it I guess.

Which brand? This is still a solid 120 to 150 more than the GTX 1060 when it was first released. I remember I got my GTX 1060 6GB for 425 when it launched.

GTX 1060 brought a bigger performance jump for 50 USD more than its predecessor. This is supposed to be a mid range card, but at 600 bucks locally is definitely not mid end price.

I was targetting to get a few second hand GTX 1060 to upgrade some of my rigs, but looks like a 1070 isn't far from the horizon. Lets see if the 1070 owners will be tempted to upgrade for the sake of Ray Tracing.
