Watch: Hyun Bin, Yoo Hae Jin, And Daniel Henney Team Up For International Mission In Action-Packed “Confidential Assignment 2” Trailer

The sequel to “Confidential Assignment” has released a trailer ahead of its September release!

Directed by Kim Sung Hoon, the 2017 film “Confidential Assignment” was about a North Korean detective named Rim Chul Ryung (Hyun Bin) and a South Korean detective named Kang Jin Tae (Yoo Hae Jin) teaming up to catch a criminal. Girls’ Generation’s YoonA also played Park Min Young, the sister-in-law of Kang Jin Tae.

The sequel is titled “Confidential Assignment 2: International” and follows Rim Chul Ryung heading back to South Korea in pursuit of a brutal and secret criminal organization. He teams up again with Kang Jin Tae, who volunteers to work with the North Korean in order to get back on the investigation team after a mistake landed him in the cyber crime department.

Some actors joining the cast for the sequel are Daniel Henney, Jin Sun Kyu, and Jang Young Nam. Daniel Henney plays Jack, an FBI detective from the United States who is on the trail of a North Korean criminal organization that has caused havoc all over the world. Jin Sun Kyu plays Jang Myung Joon, the leader of this criminal organization.

The new trailer follows Rim Chul Ryung and Kang Jin Tae’s international endeavors as they team up with FBI detective Jack. Supporting the squad is Park Min Young who excitedly cheers on Rim Chul Ryung, while Jang Myung Joon appears as a vicious and elite villain.

As Kang Jin Tae excitedly encourages the squad to go international, he comments on the group’s tension, “We’re the Avengers. In a situation where Thanos is about to flick his finger, can Iron Man and Captain America really fight like this [amongst themselves] about who’s better?”

“Confidential Assignment 2: International” will premiere this September. Check out the action-packed trailer below!

Watch: 2PM’s Taecyeon, Ha Seok Jin, And Apink’s Jung Eun Ji Introduce Their Roles At Script Reading For Upcoming Mystery Thriller

vN has given a look at the cast of “Blind” (literal title) at their first script reading!

“Blind” is a mystery thriller that depicts the story of people who have unfairly become victims because they are ordinary and perpetrators who have closed their eyes to the uncomfortable truths. The story centers around detectives, judges, law school students, and jurors.

2PM’s Taecyeon introduces himself as detective Ryu Sung Joon. He shares, “Sung Joon is an ardent detective. As a detective chasing down a serial killer, he’s a character who busily moves around to catch criminals and prevent the numerous murders and mysteries that arise in the drama.”

Ha Seok Jin portrays Ryu Sung Joon’s older brother Ryu Sung Hoon, a genius judge. The actor describes the character saying “As he gets tangled in the serial killer case together [with his brother], they jointly investigate to try and catch the criminal. At times, [Ryu Sung Hoon] gets suspicious of his younger brother and is at the core of the drama’s entertaining cases.”

Apink’s Jung Eun Ji greets viewers and introduces her character Jo Eun Ki, a social worker. She shares, “For starters, Eun Ki plays the important role of a citizen participation trial juror who catches key points within that and diligently tries to solve the case.” She intriguingly adds, “With each episode, you will have fun.”

Despite this being their first meeting, the cast and crew comfortably completed their script reading with ease and quickly adjusted to their new setting. In addition to the relationships between Taecyeon, Ha Seok Jin, and Jung Eun Ji, there will be lots of entertainment in discovering the connections between those on the jury of this citizen participation trial.

Taecyeon chose mystery as the key point of “Blind” and explained, “I think there’s the charm of continuing to try and find out who the real culprit is. I hope viewers continue to engage in a mental battle and try to guess who the culprit is.”

Ha Seok Jin continued, “With each episode, I think this is a project with the charm of investigating together who this situation was ultimately caused by.” Jung Eun Ji added, “I believe that many people will be able to watch enjoyably and curiously. I also think this is a good project that makes you think twice about the message within it.”

“Blind” also stars Jung In Ki, Park Ji Bin, Jeon Jin Woo, Kim Bup Rae, Kim Ha Kyun, Jo Seung Yeon, Jo Kyung Sook, and Choi Hong Il, and will premiere on September 16 at 10:40 p.m. KST. Check out a teaser here and watch the script reading video below!

Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun, And Park Ji Hu Are Ready To Shake Things Up In Mysterious Poster For Upcoming Drama

Upcoming tvN drama “Little Women” has unveiled a new poster!

“Little Women” is about three sisters with a close bond who grew up in poverty. The drama follows the exciting story of the sisters as they get embroiled in a major incident and face off against the wealthiest family in the nation.

Kim Go Eun plays the eldest sister Oh In Joo, who wants to protect her family with money. Growing up in extreme poverty, her only dream was to live as well off as other normal people, but a major incident completely shakes up her life.

Nam Ji Hyun takes on the role of the second sister Oh In Kyung, a news reporter who does not want to bow down to money and aims to always do what’s right. When a mysterious case from her early reporter days returns close to her, she starts digging for the truth.

Park Ji Hu transforms into Oh In Hye, the youngest overwhelmed by the love of her older sisters who work hard for her. Although she has never even used decent art supplies due to their family’s financial situation, she enters an art high school with her natural talent.

The new poster features the three Oh sisters standing in a dim area below the railing. The chandelier hanging above them illuminates their different expressions. First, Oh In Joo shows the solid nature of the oldest sister as she looks up with firm eyes. Oh In Kyung is glancing upward at a different angle, and her gaze is sharp and keen. On the other hand, Oh In Hye, who is loved by her sisters, has her back to them. The text on the poster reads, “From the lowest, darkest place to the highest, brightest place,” piquing curiosity about where these three sisters are headed.

The story beyond imagination that ordinary but extraordinary people will create will be exciting. Please look forward to the synergy of Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun, and Park Ji Hu who will depict completely different charms.”

“Little Women” will premiere on September 3 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
