What brand of ovens have you been using? Or is it your cleaning/maintenance issue? Really have to see the extent of warping though... slight warpage is normal but you don't want it to short against somethingThats what i thought also. Do you like clean the oven as soon as humanly possible then close the cover up immediately? Use a very wet cloth to wipe down?As in pic above, the top back bar is now 'U' shape.
How you guys maintain the oven to prevent rust?

Cheap might explain the heating element warpage but the rusting is a bit bad even for a cheap oven...I also never cleaned the walls. Will leave it open to air dry from now onwards.
I always thought is cause I always buy cheap ovens. Those $100 or less type.
me thinks that it has nothing to do w/ wet items bring put inside or anythin'TS may be putting very wet items in his oven.
Maybe TS is operating some business that needs hot and wet towels.
Most ovens really is covered in oil that will protect it forever.
The pic shows the top (ceiling) of the oven. As can be seen, the rust is focused behind the 2 bars. The back bar is the warped one.still trying to figure out what that pic supposed to look like at all angles![]()
