So apparently, the RX480 is super hot. And bcoz of the weather this days, its even hotter. Like 92C? Any AIO blocks or fan cooler i can use? Except for arctic ones as they are ugly. Thanks.

Tried wattman/?

At stock settings, my set was factory configured to run 1266MHz @ 1137mV, 13mV under max configurable voltage wattman allows for overclocking.

Gamernexus did 1390MHz stable on 1150mV, aio WC. In other words, an undevolt may help you keep temps in check.

If it is still not good enough, use manual fan control.

I feel buying a water cooler for a card in the mid end is not quite worth it. The cooler will easily cost more than 30% of the card.

If you dont even wanna set anything on wattman, then best is to leave it as it is.

Cause spending on another cooler is not advisable. You need to do a lot of things just to make it work. You need to find ways to cool the vrms and VRAM sections with a proper heatsink.

The only problem with this RX480 is due to the heatsink cooling capacity is too small and hence you will need to do tuning of the card.

If you really do not wanna tune your card then i suggest, sell the card, get the GTX1060 which isn't gonna be cool either as Founders Edition card needs to tweak the fan settings to cool things down. Else you will have to get an AIB partner cards such as Asus, MSI, Sapphire, to come out with their own coolers.

I am very sure you will find an AIB ones that will fit your chassis size clearance. Just wait for them to roll out and see which fits.

You spend on cooler, you spend on heatsinks, you spend on additional 90 or 120mm fans just to cool the card down, just not gonna be worth it.

So i guess you might wanna start tuning your cards instead, free and yet easy to do.

this guy water cool his r9 290 ref and kept the shroud, thus keeping his vrms/vram cool as well.

it's a universal custom solution using an AIO.

There's a guy on OCN selling a set of screws which fits any AIO.

If yr not in a hurry, just wait awhile. surely got some ppl mod with AIO and put up video. There's also custom water cooling but it's a lot more expensive.
