Ryokan/hotel in Hakone.

Any nice ryokan/hotel to intro in Hakone? Best is onsen with Fuji view. Or is lake kawaguchi a better option? And also which area is easier to get to from downtown tokyo?

Kawaguchiko is much closer to Mount Fuji than hakone

In terms is journey it will take around 3 hours from Tokyo

Try Kiritani Hakone-so. We stayed there with our Japanese friends and really enjoyed it! The kaiseki was also amazing!

The hotel i stayed at hakone-yumoto is gd (yumoto fujiya hotel), get it at a discount price of $120 p/nite. Less than 5mins walk from the station, from there can start the hakone round trip, very convenient.

I took the romancecar from shinjuku station and it stopped at hakone yumoto station.

But no mt fuji view.

U can consider?

Thks all. Am looking at Fujimien or Tenseien based on reviews. Hmm.. will take a look at Fujiya
