I know recommended is ryzen 5 2600 + vega 56 but i dont have enough budget to go that route

How is 2200g + Vega 56 combo for 1440p gaming? Will it get ok fps? Or top up abit get r5 1600?

Very unbalanced build. It's like putting a Ferrari engine into a Toyota. FPS will be limited by the 2200G. I don't think you will have a smooth playable game at 1440p.

If you have the budget to buy a 1440p monitor, you should get a better CPU to go along with the graphics card.

Yes i heard many ppl say 2200g gaming actually around same as 1600

Going by this logic, everybody would be be buying 2200G or i3-8100 to partner with Vega 56 / 64 or Gtx 1070 / 1080. Lol...

The reason why we recommend the minimum CPU to be a Ryzen 5 is there's a performance difference between Ryzen 5 and 2200G, and it will not limit the Vega 56.

Ya man, what's everyone is advising is right. Go and watch the reviews on youtube, the 2200g definitely hinder the potential of the card.

If you are prepared to build this system, settle at least for some potential or some future-proofing. You get this now and later when you not happy with the performance, you will be back here hunting for another CPU. Get the right one and enjoy the games.
