People can say what they want. My ex could not make it in his career and was forced to resign. He told other people he made a big sacrifice to stay home to take care of his kid instead of being a successful banker.

I also can say I could be a millionaire but chose to sacrifice my career because of this and that lor.

No. I am just annoyed by those people who said she’s not worthy of the lao uncle just because she’s divorced, like being divorced is the greatest sin on earth. It’s this idiotic perspective that ensnares so many women in abusive marriages. Too many women are afraid of being seen as ‘unwanted, second hand, materialistic, problematic’ etc that causes them to put up with abusive husbands and see death as the only way to liberate themselves.
