S View Cover and Note 3

Anyone using S-View Cover and Note 3 can enlighten me on these two questions:

1) When there is incoming SMS message, we can swipe to right and read SMS. I just realised that mine stopped doing so the past few days. There is only SMS icon displayed but no option to swipe right to read SMS. The only probable cause is after my restore of SMS from Samsung Account backup, but I can't be sure

2) On the inside of backcover, there is two terminal (similar like ones from wireless charging). Any idea what's this for?

For the incoming sms, I also thought that can swipe to read the sms but after I check with the staff from samsung store at vivo, they say cannot leh... wondering why so...

Just found out the answer to 1), If lock is set (pattern, etc), the SMS/Missed call number preview from S-Cover is disabled.

It works for me, the Swipe left to see SMS, even the messages

The terminals lead to a Samsung patented chip embedded inside the case. That is why no other 3rd party flip cases can access to S view functions.

I meant swipe to left screen, aka swipe rightwards. I believe most of them didn't use S view cover or even a note 3 one... Lol

Yes, some dirt can be wiped with alcohol tissue. Ink smear is perm, bought white as there is no other color available. Saw the black version in Malaysia. I don't like the plain black. Perhaps wait for brown or grey and others to come, I don't understand why samsung does not bring these at one go.

Work as you have not set lock or it work with lock (PIN or Pattern)
